TwitBird Pro for Twitter App Reviews

A twitter client that wants to charge you another $2.99 for push notifications (for people NOT already using TwitBird). Save you money and use the Twitter ipad client, which gives you this feature FOR FREE. The UI is uninspired and its feature set isnt robust enough to justify the price. Very disappointed I wasted my money on this.

Last update fix the scroll issue but now receiving direct messages is broke. Please fix this!

This app is by far the best one in the app store for my use. When they say full-featured, they really mean it. Yes, occasionally an update will have a bug in it, but their quick to recognize their mistakes AND issue a fix in a reasonable timeframe. They usually have it fixed in less than 24 hrs, but the app store has to do their checking and usually doesnt release the new version for sometimes up to a week....thats not TwitBirds fault!! Its quick, simple to use 100 times better than the native Twitter app. Keep up the good work!!

Latest update no longer opens tweets at the top of the page - must scroll to the top to view new tweets. Seriously ready to dump this app - please add back the "go to top of page" button!!!

Since last update I have sent inbox a new bug on the update the day after the new release.... Now posting it here since I have not received a reply in over a month... I cannot up load pics now

Everytime I try to check my retweets, it doesnt load and it says server busy SUPER ANNOYING

Updates seem to cripple the app…In app purchases work sporadic at best. Support unresponsive, some help requests as old as a year or more.

Looks nicer and works better than all the others

EDIT (Nov 5/2011): Still amazing as always, however the translate button is a little wonky sometimes with East Asian languages. Beautiful and amazing app. Love it. EDIT (Jan 18/2011): I have received a sure word from Twitbird that they are working on an update for later this month with a speedy reply to an email inquiry. Great service, love this app! EDIT (Jan 17/2011): I still think Twitbird is an amazing app for Twitter however recently it has become quite buggy and sometimes I dont get all the updated tweets on my newsfeed! I have to manually go to the persons account to see their new Tweets! Please fix this! PREVIOUS REVIEW: I absolutely love this app! I switched from TweetDeck to Twitbird because there was no translate function on the former. I love everything about Twitbird; even the free version has a lot of functions integrated into it! I just bought this one and its amazing. I wish it had more themes though. They only have the four like in the free. I have yet to try push notifications but its great. Everything is wonderful; buy it now, you will not be wasting your money!

Ive had this app for over a year and when it worked, it was great. Key is WHEN it worked. Ive had to restore push notifications so many times. Its just giving me the spinning wheel for a month. It has failed more than it has worked; and my tweets to its official page have gone unanswered. It will take forever to load tweets or post tweets. Ive given up and Im moving on to another app that has more consistency.

Best twitter app for me. I have tried almost all of them and I think the money is worth it. A little hard to get used to after using the official Twitter app for a while, but overall, I love this. I reccomend it to everyone.

Ive tried dozens of Twitter apps and I keep coming back to the same one. If youre looking for simple, powerful and great to look at, look no further. You can handle more than one Twitter account and have most of the features others have, well the ones worth your while that is. They send out updates monthly with new features and small bug fixes. What more can a user ask for. Try it.

...worse and worse!!! And the last comment from Eric is a lie! Theres no monthly updates anymore! Like if the developpers just abbandon this app... Nothing fixed, nothing since a lot of months! Really dissappointed!

If I try and post a photo, it gets sent to drafts (where it never leaves). If I try to send a personal msg, it gets sent to drafts. If I tag too many people in a post.... You guessed it... it gets sent to drafts... Wtf is it with this app?

Please update. And dont abandon this app: - trends need fixing - translations - speed ----------- Im not sure what has happened. Seems like developers have abandoned TwitBird. It lags, translating doesnt work, trends do not show up. Whats going on? Its been so long without an update? Please let us know whats going on. Your Twitter is in Japanese so we have no clue whats up!?!??!?

This app is useless. I would say 0/5 Stars but iTunes wont accept that. Better off saving your money & use Safari for Twitter.

Does not function properly. I contacted them asking about it but no response. It should be stopped before people wast money.

It doesnt work anymore, neither on my iPhone nor on my iPad.

This app was working but has recently crashed and cannot get it working again. Cannot contact developers as every link on their website it no good. Dont bother with this one
